Hi there 👋
I'm Chenmeinian Guo, born and raised in Shanghai. After spending about six years studying in the US, I'm now back in Shanghai working as a machine learning engineer. I studied computer science at NYU Courant and the Ohio State University. Outside work, I spend much of my free time practicing guitar. I also enjoy working out, playing badminton, and playing tennis.

My primary interests lie in software development and large language models. Through engineering roles — from backend systems to AI agents and model training — I’ve seen how different parts of the AI stack connect, from infrastructure to applications. I’m still learning how to build useful systems across that stack.

Music is a big part of my life, both listening and learning to play. My taste moves across genres, and I enjoy discovering new sounds and hearing familiar songs in a different way. I'm still developing my guitar skills, with the goal of playing by ear and jamming with other people. I'm also interested in learning finance and how to invest. On the travel front, I attended my first live metal concert last summer in Milano, Italy.
